Copper alloy belt mount with domed front and slightly hollowed back. figurative style mount in the shape of an acorn with line decoration on the cup and a short stalk at the base. There is also a band around the top of the acron whitch is cross hatched. At the back are two attachment spikes. One is set behind the top of the acorn and was bent back towards the centre of the mount in attaching it to the belt. The other is set behind the base of the cup and is incomplete (only a vertical stub remains).
