Incomplete silver one real or 'cob' piece of Philip II (1556-1598) of Spain, mint of Mexico, Cayon no.3480. The reverse has the 'Florenzada' cross which has bifid ends topped with spheres is found exclusively on coins that were minted in Mexico City. The coin appears to have been clipped but is also worn into a sub-square shape so that most of the legends are missing.
