Copper alloy possible knife pommel. Cast bifurcated object with two horns rising from a flat base. This bears a central rust-stained groove which may suggest contact with the end of the tang of a small scale tang knife. Fiercely abraded. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600.
