A complete copper alloy and tin post-medieval double loop decorated buckle. Both loops are D-shaped with small knops protruding from each outer corner and a large sexfoil in the centre of each outer side and to either side of the central bar. Both faces are flat and tinned. The pin is missing, but there is traces of iron corrosion around the bar.
Decorated double loop buckles of this form are early post-medieval in date. It is similar to PAS record: SUSS-F14243 from East Sussex.
