Just under half of a lead alloy medieval pilgrim's ampulla, dating from c. AD 1350-1530. The ampulla is of the Type II scallop shell design, and most of the scallop shell is retained. There are stumps where the handle loops would have been, and although present the neck is broken and distorted. The opposing half of the ampulla is missing, and it is therefore not possible to date this example more closely or suggest any specific shrine it could be associated with.
