A lead alloy artefact, possibly a token of Medieval or Post-Medieval dating from about AD 1400 - 1800. It is flat and may originally have been circular but there are edge chips and a significant portion has broken away and is missing. One side carries the remains of a design consisting of a rectangle of eight squares in two lines of four, each square containing a single large pellet. There is a possible crown above this grid. The other side may also carry a design but the artefact has sustained too much damage to be sure of this. It is 24.3mm long, 19.9mm wide and 3.4mm thick. It weighs 3.75gm.
