Incomplete Roman zoomorphic plate brooch with most of the hinged pin, part of the catchplate, and parts of the edges missing. The corroded front face carries traces of tinning or silvery solder. The complete form is uncertain and it is not clear what species was depicted. Extant length and width 22.6 and 17.1mm. 2nd century.
