Just over half of a post-medieval tin-coated copper alloy double-looped buckle, both loops rectangular, with elaborate openwork decoration on the sides and edges, and an incomplete iron pin on the bar. One aperture on the extant edge is partly blocked by a casting flaw. Very similar to, but slightly smaller than Whitehead 2003, no. 499. Estimated length 48mm. Width 31.3mm. c.1620 - c.1690.
