Silver dress fastener eye plate of Read (2008) Class B. Crescent-shaped plate decorated with filigree, consisting of a twisted wire border around an abstract design, probably two flowers with long stamens in a pot. There are very slight traces of possible inlay in at least one of the twisted wire cells forming the design. A single piece of wire is bent to form two attachment loops and the eye and soldered to the reverse. Slight traces of gilding survive. Length 16mm Width 13mm. Weight 0.6g. Broadly similar to NMS-D26CB2 (Wendling, Norfolk, HER42701), LVPL-859AC5 and KENT-3F6696. 1500 - 1600.
