Three sherds of post-medieval Glazed Red Earthenware (GRE), two joining large jar rim (old break), other breaks also not recent, with internal and external lead glaze, in places thick, diameter 240mm, and one body with internal glaze only, breaks not recent, with thin external sooting, probably from another vessel. Weight 299g. GRE began to be produced in the middle of the 16th century. These pieces probably belong to the 18th.
Found behind a chimney in a "17th-century lobby entrance type farmhouse originally timber-framed, extended and frame replaced during 18th century."
