Fragment of a Roman T-shaped brooch made from copper alloy. The fragment is from the head of the brooch which has cylindrical wings and a hinge pin mechanism. At the junction between the wings and bow there is an inverted ‘V’. Only the top of the bow survives and is decorated with two parallel incised lines running down its centre. The brooch weighs 3.66g and measures 21mm in width and 18mm in length.
