12 flakes
Neolithic
Sizes range from 34mm long, 30mm wide, 2.5mm thick to 19mm by 15mm by 21mm

The objects have one to three arrises, on all the cases the arrise is on the side and none run across the centre of the artefacts. There is evidence of retouch on about half of the objects and some show signs of wear along the cutting edge.

About 40% have an off white/light grey patina, 40% have a light grey/blue patina, the rest has a dark grey/blue patina. Almost 10% have the remains of the creamy colour cortex on its surface.

These are part of a large assemblage of 511 flints. See GLO-BCDA95 for further information on the rest of the assemblage.

See the following records for a more detailed description of all the various tool types in this assemblage.
