A fragment of a Medieval to Post Medieval vessel, dating AD 1300-1800. The rim is flanged and the body of the vessel slopes gradually, with an estimated vessel diameter of 12-13 cm. This is therefore likely to be from a relatively shallow bowl or cup. There is a mid-light green patina on the inner surface and dark black discolouration on the outer surface. Traces of soot are present, suggesting this object was placed in a fire.
