Part of a copper-alloy open-frame brooch, dating from the Medieval period.
The remaining piece, representing approximately half of the original brooch, is C-shaped in plan, of D-shaped cross section and has two angled collets,between which are two wider mouldings with transverse grooves.
Diameter of object: 54.52 mm. Width: 5.78 mm. Thickness: 3.02 mm. Weight: 8.849 grams. The object has a dull green patina with some soil impaction.
