Neolithic to early Bronze Age (c. 3300 to 1000BC) scraper: The scraper appears to be knapped from a secondary or tertiary flake. It is a sub-oval with a small striking platform at the proximal end. The dorsal surface has a single scar with concoidal ripples. The ventral surface has a prominent bulb of percussion which has been partly reduced in depth due to invasive retouch. One lateral edge and distal end has semi-abrupt, scaled retouch. The scraper is knapped from flint which is an opaque mid brown colour. The scraper, measures 36.73mm long, 25.5mm wide and 7.45mm thick. It weighs 7.57g.
The scraper, if that is certain, is probably an end scraper and dates to the late Neolithic or early Bronze Age periods, c. 3300 to 1000BC.
