Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy sword belt fitting, double link with opposed stumps at the juction of the loops, one perhaps from a missing hook, the other probably a short stem-like projection. Both loops have a slight offset in the outside edge. Cf. The more usual trefoil examples in Read 2008, nos. 815-6. Extant length 18mm. Width 23mm. 2mm thick. 17th century.
