An incomplete flint scraper of probable Mesolithic or Neolithic date, about 9000 BC - 2200. The rounded scraper is formed on a tertiary flake of dark grey flint with a large inclusion at the proximal end. The flake is rounded in plan and a pointed oval in section. The left hand side is broken away and missing. There are removal scars on the dorsal face. The distal end and right side have been worked to form the scraper, and the left side was probably worked too. It has long, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch. The scraper is 28.8mm long, 29.7mm wide and 11mm thick. 8.56g.
