Small fragment of a medieval to post-medieval copper alloy handle from a chafing dish. The complete object would have been an inverted T-shaped frame. Only part of one hexagonal-sectioned side is extant. It exhibits profuse file marks and the front face is decorated with punched annulets. Extant height and width 22 and 27mm. Cf. NMS-572AF8, a similarly decorated fragment, and IOW-600408, a complete example. c.1450 - c.1550.
