A Post-Medieval silver coin: a half groat of Elizabeth I (1558 - 1603), third issue, dating from 1590 - 1592. Hand initial mark, mint of London. Part of the flan between one o'clock and four o'clock on the obverse has broken away and is missing. It is 15.8mm in diameter and 0.6 mm thick. It weighs 0.82gm.
