Incomplete medieval copper alloy strap fitting, a bar-mount comprising terminal and central lobes. Part of one of the latter has been lost along with a rivet. Holes in both are countersunk at the rear. There is a slight hollow under the central lobe which is decorated with three longitudinal filed grooves and many shallower transverse grooves. Length 6.8mm. Estimated width 13.5mm. 14th century.
