A flint retouched flake of unknown date, probably Mesolithic or Neolithic, about 9000 BC - 2200 BC. The flake is formed on recorticated mottled grey flint. It is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section. There is a single arris obliquely across the dorsal face. There is very fine, short, sub-parallel, abrupt retouch on the left side, particularly at the proximal end. This is worked from the ventral face at the proximal end and from the dorsl face in the middle. The right edge is damaged. There are also a couple of possible retouch removals from the distal end. The flake is 22.6mm long, 14.7mm wide and 3.5mm thick. 0.97g.
