A flint end scraper of probable Mesolithic date, about 9000 BC - 4000 BC. It is formed on a dark grey unpatinated secondary flake with cortex on the dorsal face. It is sub-recatangular in plan with a rounded distal end, and D-shaped in cross-section. There is short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch on the distal end, extending on to the distal sides, even onto the cortext on the right side. The flint is 38.4mm long, 25.8mm wide and 9.5mm thick. 8.57g.
