An incomplete copper-alloy trapezoidal buckle frame with offset and narrowed bar of Medieval date, c. AD 1300-1400. It is missing the pin.
It is rectangular in section with an expanded outer edge. On the front face of the outer edge is a rectangular pin groove. The back face is undecorated.
This buckle measures 25.7mm long, 23.3mm wide, 2.8mm thick and weighs 4.30 grams.
There is a similar example from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, p. 101, no. 462).
