The spur consists of an oval sectioned neck which terminate in an old break before it reached the place where it would have secured to the rowel. The neck of the spur, which is integrally cast to the rest of the spur, extends and flares to form curved arms with a D-shaped section, both of which terminate in a worn break. The spur has been covered with white metal to give the impression of silver.
