An incomplete handle from a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600).

The handle consists of a local (unsourced) glazed earthenware, with frequent fine quartz inclusions, dating from the 15th to 17th Centuries AD. The handle probably originally came from a jug.

The sherd is 10.9 mm thick and weighs 29.0 g. They measure 52.0 mm in length and 34.0 mm wide.
