A rimsherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1400).
The rimsherd consists of a local (unsourced) glazed earthenware, with frequent fine quartz inclusions, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD. Due to the size of the fragment, it is hard to determine the original vessel form, but possibly an open bowl.
The sherd is 9.7 mm thick and weighs 36.6 g. It measures 53.5 mm in length and 65.9 mm wide.
