A rimsherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Medieval dating (AD1200 toAD1400).
The rimsherd consists of a local (unsourced) glazed earthenware, with frequent fine quartz inclusions, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD. Due to the size of the fragment, it is hard to determine the original vessel form, but possibly an open bowl.
The sherd is 5.30 mm thick and weighs 8.7g. It measures 11.9 mm in length and 50.0 mm wide.
