A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy vessel foot, dating AD 1200-1600. The object has a right-angular projection at one end, though it is more curved on the outer surface. There is a ridge running down the centre of this outer surface, more pronounced at the foor end, to immitate a toe. The foot is now worn but there would have originaly been three ridges to immitate toes.

Similar vessel feet of this type can be found on the PAS database, cf. SOM-0248ED, and tend to date from the 13th-16th century. Due to its condition, this example is difficult to pin down in date.
