A rimsherdof a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Medieval dating (AD1200 toAD1400).

The rimsherd consists of a local (unsourced) cooking pot type earthenware, with frequent fine quartz inclusions, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD. Due to the size of the fragment, it is hard to determine the original vessel form, but possibly a lid or bowl.

The sherd is 5.4 mm thick and weighs 3.4 g. It measures 15.9 mm in length and 27.0 mm wide.
