Silver roman Denarius of Hadrian (r.AD 117-138), dating to AD 119-22 (Reece Period 6), P M TR P COS III, SAL AVG in exergue, Salus seated left feeding snake at altar. Mint of Rome. RIC II, p. 356, no. 137b.

Obverse: Laureate head right, slight draping left shoulder. Leg.: '[IMP CA]ESAR TRAIAN[HADRIANVS AVG]', Laureate head right, drapery on left shoulder.

Reverse.: P M TR P COS III, SAL AVG in exergue, Salus seated left, holding patera and feeding serpent rising from altar left.

Coin is worn and slightly incomplete with notch missing from bottom right of obverse, roughly 5 o'clock.

Measurements: 17mm in diamter, 1.64 thick and 4.18g in Weight.
