One body sherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1400).

The bodysherd consists of a local (unsourced) glazed earthernware fabric, with frequent fine quartz inclusions, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD.The body sherd comes from an jug type vessel.

The sherd measures 8.0 mm thick and weighs 13.3grams. It measures 48.2 mm in length and 38.6 mm wide.
