Post medieval lead cloth seal of 17th century date
The seal is sub-circular and may have been of two or four disc type with the connecting strips now missing (with a maximum diameter of 15.8mm, a thickness of 1.3mm and a weight of 1.3g). The disc has a crown above a harp and flanked each side by C - R, probably indicating an Irish alnage seal of Charles I (1625-49) or possibly Charles II (1660-1685). The rear is plain.
