Lead musket ball. Cast ball with a flattened circumferential band from set up, and with damage on one side, possibly from impact into a soft material such as clay at high velocity. The mass, at over an ounce, would suggest this was used with a smoothbore muzzle loading firearm of military specification. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1800.
