Late Saxon copper alloy penannular finger ring, corroded purplish metal, D-sectioned, tapering to a point at both ends, squashed with ends overlapping half of ring. Internal diameter 11-13mm. External diameter 14.5-16.5mm thick. Weighs 1.08g. Cf. Goodall in Rogerson and Dallas (1984) fig.110, nos.17, 20 and 21. 11th century.
