Medieval to post-medieval copper alloy ring of pentagonal cross-section. There is a sharp arris around the exterior and the inner face is gently convex. External diameter 24mm. Internal diameter 19mm. Thickness 2.2mm. Possibly used in the suspension of drapes (Egan 1998, 62-4). Mid 14th - 16th century.
