China pipeclay figurine. Naturalistically modelled nude figure of a chubby youth of indeterminate gender with small pert buttocks and a somewhat thickset torso; with tin glaze. The head, arms and lower legs are lost. This is probably a 'fairing' or trinket of German manufacture. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1820-1880.
