Trefoil handled pewter spoon with round bowl. Rats tail attachment of handle. Cast relief initials (W*S) within a heart with a double chevron above on reverse of top of handle (possibly makers mark). Front of top of handle bears cast relief crude design of a Roman emperors head wearing a radiate crown. This is surrounded on both sides by curving chevrons giving effect of a laurel wreath. There is some curvilinear decoration extending halfway down the handle.
