A fragment of an unidentified object of probable Roman date (AD 43-410). At one end the object is broadly sub-oval in section. The first section of the object curves and then narrows and twists terminating in a pointed tapered broken end. Possible functions may be a hook or it may be part of a bracelet. The object has a mid-dark green patina across its surface with traces of the original surface visible in places. In appearance and form it suggests a Roman date, circa AD43-410.
