Post Medieval copper alloy barrel tap key, 57mm long, 35mm wide and 15mm thick. The objbect is incomplete and weighs 48.41grams.
The object consists of a flat rectangular platewhich has two circular cut outs, one in each top corner. Below this the object widens out to accomodate a circular shaft which tapers slightly in width towarsd its damaged??? end. Ths shaft has a slightly protruding rounded collar at each end, The interior of the shaft has an ??? aperture??
