A probable fragment of copper metalworking debris of unspecified date. The object is made of sheet copper alloy roughly triangular with two very thing corners and one that appears to have been cut again to form a fourth edge. The narrowest corners have been twisted to form loops, though this appears to be unintentional. It is difficult to date this object, but based on the pattina it is likely to be significantly old, no later than Medieval in date. There is a mid-dark green pattina on the object with patches of mid brown soil discolouration.
