Flint flake of broad Mesolithic/Neolithic date (9000 - 2200 BC). The flint is brown in colour and is opaque with no patination. It is a primary flake with cortex remaining on the dorsal face. It is sub-rectangular in plan and triangular in cross-section. There is no retouch visible, though the right edge has sustained damage. The flint is 49mm long x 23mm wide x 11.6mm thick and weighs 14g.
