Silver, Iron Age, possible Unit of the North Eastern Region (Unknown Tribe), possibly dating to the period 50 BC - 20 BC. North Eastern Boar/Horse Type. As is usual, the flan is dished and one side has been struck from a very worn die, resulting in one face being almost blank. The reverse depicts a celticised (stylised) horse, facing right with one pellet at the horse's tail, one above the horses back and one by the neck. There are pellets showing the horse's knees on the front legs. Hobbs No 3218 - 3227, page 177 - 178.
