An incomplete copper alloy Roman finger ring dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The finger ring exhibits an oval bezel with an oval recess measuring 11.67mm in length and 9.46mm in width, filled with glass or paste. The setting is largely a translucent yellow/green colour but has a dark blue patch at one side. The shoulders taper on either side of the bezel and terminate in old breaks. The copper alloy has a worn dark green patina.
The finger ring measures 15.98mm in length, 11.54mm in width, is 6.09mm thick and weighs 3.14g.
