Flint scraper of broad Neolithic date (4000 - 2200 BC). The flint is light grey in colour, is opaque and is patinated. It is sub-oval in plan and flat-elliptical in cross-section. There is short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt, retouch to the curved edge at the distal end carried out from the dorsal face, but damage to the edges means that only parts of this retouch survive. There is also similar minimal retouch to part of the left hand side at the proximal end. The flint is 22mm long x 31.7mm wide x 6.6mm thick and weighs 3.2g.
