A fragment of a post medieval silver thimble probably dating to c AD 1620-1650. The fragment comprises the top dome of the thimble and is probably part of a two part thimble (possibly Dutch Type I dating to AD 1620-1650). The fragment comprises a dome which is decorated on the top by seven rows of raised circles each with a punched central hole. The back of the dome is undecorated but there are raised knops where the hole has been punched from the other side.
