A Medieval silver groat of Edward IV (1461-1470) Light coinage (1464/5-1470) Type VII (July 1466-July 1467) initial mark crown. Minted in London. North (1991:p. 87) no 1570. Buck (2000) notes that later issues have small trefoils on the cusp. Therefore the date may be narrowed even further. The coin could possibly be a contemporary copy.
