An incomplete lead penny sized Boy Bishop token,similar to Rigold Series I tokens (Rigold, 1978: 94-95) but with differing legend, c.1470-1539 AD. Parallels are noted in other examples from Suffolk (SF-B76571, SF-55D0B5, SF-55FAE4, SF-563186, SF-0220D6 and SF-B3A495).
Obverse: .SAnCT[]OLAE:, A mitre within an inner circle.
Reverse: ORA/P[]/[]/BIS, Long cross fourchee dividing the legend, three pellets in each angle of the cross, all within an inner circle.
