It is as Meols type 2 with D-shaped frame that ahs an expanded outer edge and offset and narrowed rectangular bar. Hinging around the bar is an incomplete andseparate sheet copper-alloy plate that is rectangular in form, tapering slightly to the attachment end, with rectangular pin slot and frame recesses, and lower/back plate that is narrower than the upper plate. Te attachment end is missing due to old breaks and at the frame end are two circular rivet holes containign separately cast copper-alloy rivets with domed heads. The entire object measures18.90mm in width, 31.19mm in length (including plate,13.56mmat frame), 3.55mm in thickness, and 4.08g in weight.
