A medieval silver voided short cross cut halfpenny of John dating to the perod AD 1205-1207. [IOH]AN on W[INCI] (probably) reverse depicting a voided short cross with a quatrefoil in each quarter. HENRICVS [REX] obverse depicting a crowned head facing with side curls with pellets. Class 5b2 (probably) North 970 (probably 970ii) (North, JJ, 1980, English Hammered Coinage Volume 1 Early Anglo-Saxon to Henry III c 600-1272, Spink & Son, London p 179).
