Post-medieval copper alloy shoe buckle frame with remains of an iron spindle within housings. Similar to Whitehead 2003, nos. 661-2 but with a low elongated (13 x 2.5mm) pointed oval moulding with a median groove on the front face in the centre of both sides. Length and width 34.4 and 27mm. c.1690 -c.1720.
